Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese Recalled Again

Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese has issued a second recall for some of its products due to possible listeria contamination.

The Courier Journal reports the recall was made by the Austin, Kentucky, company Monday after routine testing of certain cheese samples found listeria monocytogenes, which can sicken vulnerable people.

The types of cheese include chipotle colby, colby, monterey jack and mild cheddar sold or distributed in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, North Carolina, Alabama and Virginia, according to the report. The products went to restaurants, farmer markets and distributors beginning September 2.
